Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I believe that active self-awareness and responsive empathy are the keys to creating a world where we all can learn, grow and thrive. We each can spend more time practicing these attributes and encouraging others to do the same, starting with those who we touch and who touch us every day.
Take good care, of yourself, others and the planet.

The evidence of "Spiritual Sickness" is is being mistaken for any number of clinical malady's which would have symptoms closely resembling this all pervasive corrosion of "one" of the three components that would give us the ability to call ourselves "Human" and assumed as physical healthy, mentally sound individuals who have a sense of fairness as well as a sense of compassion for those (Who lack it) Missing a common thread called by many names between us is the cause of a sort of epidemic of spirit sickness which also has a cumulative effect on a species and translates out from there. to all other inhabitants of the planet, and then the planet it's self. The Mind , Body, and Spirit are the three parts that can't be seperated or ignored. The Spiritual aspect is the one most likely to fall into disrepair due to neglect and that neglect can be allowed to become more and more pronounced if it is helped along with a mental defense that seems to have outlived it's purpose called "Denile" This all a wordy way of saying the same thing alcoholic/Drug addicts commonly suffer from. The problem is that addict/alcoholics know they have a soul sickness and become willing to address it. Normal people generally don't suffer the ugliness and fairly swift consequences that land in these peoples lives on a regular basis. The ability to disregard these becomes intolerable as well as possibley "Life Threatening" so it becomes obvious to them. What I'm worried about is the portion of the population that only suffer an ocassional pang of a mildly guilty conscience, or none at all. How could the rest of society be deferred to a practical solution when it is evident to me that they are void of the mind set it takes because the consequenses are nowhere near as direct as those brought on by drug and alcohol abuse. What now?
